Hi, I'm
Shanvi.
A curious learner, passionate about healthcare, and driven by a desire to help others feel seen, supported, and cared for.
A story still
being written.
I'm currently a freshman planning to pursue a career in healthcare. My life wasn't always — and still isn't fully — planned out, but I've been drawn to helping others for as long as I can remember.
Even as a kid, I wanted to help heal.
I was so intrigued by Rapunzel's magical healing hair that I may have attempted to use my own hair to cure a few papercuts over the years.
Whether it's lending a hand at the library or taking responsibility for my own younger brother, I find meaning in caring for people and helping them feel seen and supported.
I'm still exploring healthcare, wondering if I want to go into pediatrics, psychology, or something else — but I'm excited to be learning at every pothole and fork in the road.
I'm excited to continue growing, discovering new interests, building relationships, and finding meaningful ways to make a difference.
“I'm not trying to have every answer figured out. I'm excited to discover where the road takes me.”
Moments that shaped me.

Through reading medical stories and books, my love for healthcare has grown.
I'm working on public speaking and building connections with a large range of people.
I'm open to medical topics such as genetics, psychology, neurology, and pediatrics.
I'm excited to dive into more clubs and activities that align with my goals.

Swimming
Swimming has taught me diligence, stamina, discipline, goal-setting, and how to keep pushing even when things get difficult.
Volleyball
Volleyball gives me a way to reset, challenge myself, overcome mental blocks, and continue growing through every challenge.
Presidential Award for Academic Excellence
I was recently presented the Presidential Award for Academic Excellence. It represents a meaningful academic milestone and reminds me of what can happen when consistency, effort, and curiosity come together.
Let's connect.
I love talking to people who are involved in healthcare and students who are on similar paths. Feel free to reach out, connect, and start a conversation.
